Remi is devoted to their work as a therapeutic counsellor, bringing their vibrant and energetic personality with them into the counselling room. They ensure that clients set the agenda for the sessions and is a counsellor willing to go that extra mile with clients, using their expertise to throw light on the client’s narrative while staying empathically with their felt experience through their journey in therapy.

Remi has a long experience in counselling and social work and is an active supporter of equal rights for all genders and minority groups. They are well-known in LGBT and BAME communities in London and beyond for their work in support of people facing the challenges of living in a society still discriminating against people because of race, gender identity, and sexuality.

One of the many areas that Remi excels in is difference and diversity. They are able to bring a deep understanding of the issues to the therapy room and with empathy, in the ‘here and now’ of the therapeutic relationship, provide a safe and warm space for clients to explore internalised oppressive thoughts and feelings.
